Using Zoom Securely

As organizations worldwide have moved towards working remotely in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Zoom has seen an exponential increase in users. Unfortunately, that increase in popularity has also made it a popular target for hackers. If you want to continue leveraging Zoom in your workplace, there are steps you should take to make your Zoom meetings more secure. If you still feel wary of Zoom, you might already have access to some popular alternatives. If you’re an Office 365 user, you can use the video chat functionality included in Teams to hold meetings. Similarly, G Suite users have access to Hangouts Meet. Slack includes a video chat feature, or Skype is always an option. However, you should still utilize the best practices outlined in the above-mentioned article, whichever platform you choose.
